Research

We work at the interface of structural mechanics and monitoring: leveraging data-driven methods, physics-based modelling and smart sensor systems to observe, predict and enhance the performance of civil infrastructure and materials. From bridges and wind turbines to mobile sensing and living materials, we explore how intelligent monitoring, real-time decision making and integrated simulation can bring structures to life.
