New members Welcome
We are delighted to welcome two new doctoral candidates to the Chair of Structural Mechanics and Monitoring at ETH Zurich, who will contribute to ongoing research in wind energy systems and railway dynamics.
We are pleased to announce the addition of Mary Lidiya Kalathiparambil and Federico Betti to our research team at the Chair of Structural Mechanics and Monitoring, ETH Zurich.

Mary Lidiya Kalathiparambil joined us on February 1st, as part of the IntelliWind Doctoral Network, to work on Decision Support for Wind Energy Systems. She will be supervised by Prof. Eleni Chatzi, in close collaboration with Prof. Daniel Straub (Technical University of Munich), RTDT Laboratories AG, and Moritz Häckell (Ramboll).

On April 1st, Federico Betti joined our group as part of the ETH Mobility Initiative project ESTRA (Efficient and Safe Train Dynamics). His research will be jointly supervised by Prof. Paolo Tiso (D-MAVT, ETH Zurich) and Prof. Eleni Chatzi, in partnership with Xiaolu Rao (SBB CFF FFS), Prof. Emilio Frazzoli, and Prof. Francesco Corman.
