Builtstop Wins Cohort Prize at Innosuisse Business Concept Pitch Competition

Kyriakos Chatziparasidis, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Chair of Structural Mechanics and Monitoring and ETH Pioneer Fellow, leads Builtstop to success in a major Swiss startup competition.

We are proud to share that Builtstop, co-founded by Kyriakos Chatziparasidis—Postdoc at our Chair and ETH Pioneer Fellow—has been named the winner of Cohort 4 in the recent Innosuisse Business Concept Course Pitch Competition.
The course culminated in a high-energy Ecosystem Event on May 20th, featuring pitches from over 130 aspiring founders across five cohorts. Builtstop stood out among innovative ventures with its vision for resilient and efficient built infrastructure management.
Over 12 weeks, participants developed their business ideas with the support of expert coaches and trainers. Their final pitches were evaluated by a panel of investors and professionals from the Swiss innovation ecosystem.
Builtstop’s recognition at this event reflects not only entrepreneurial excellence but also the translation of cutting-edge research in structural monitoring into impactful, practice-oriented solutions.
We extend our congratulations to all participating teams and especially to Kyriakos for this outstanding achievement. This milestone marks another step in the journey toward fostering innovation at the intersection of engineering and entrepreneurship.
