Daniele Giunta

Daniele has been a PhD student at the Department of Civil Engineering, Energy, Environment, and Materials at the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria (UNIRC) under the supervision of Prof. E. Chioccarelli since November 2022. In the first two years of his PhD, his studies focused on optimal sensor placement algorithms for dynamic structural identification. Starting in September 2024, Daniele will spend six months as a visiting researcher with the Chair of Structural Mechanics & Monitoring, where he will explore the application of dynamic structural identification within the field of structural health monitoring.
