Vasiliki Panagiotopoulou

Vasiliki has been a PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, under the supervision of Prof. C. Sbarufatti, since May 2022. In the first two years of her PhD, her studies focused on data-driven machine learning algorithms for damage identification in rotating machinery.

Starting in October 2024, Vasiliki will spend six months as a visiting researcher with the Chair of Structural Mechanics & Monitoring, where she will explore the application of physics-informed machine learning methods within the field of structural health monitoring.
