Dr. Konstantinos Vlachas among SWICCOMAS Prize 2025 recipients

Each year, the Swiss Community for Computational Methods in Applied Sciences  awards the SWICCOMAS Prize for outstanding thesis dissertation.

The evaluation committee - Rémi Abgrall, Johan Gaume, and Marco Picasso - has convened and decided to split the external page SWICCOMAS Prize 2025 between Dr. Konstantinos Vlachas (ETH Zurich, Chair of Structural Mechanics and Monitoring), Dr. Omid Ashtari (EPFL) and Dr. Jan Hendrik Bastek (ETH Zurich). We are thrilled to receive this news and congratulate the award winners on this fantastic achievement!

We're further pleased to inform you that Dr. Vlachas thesis, titled Virtualization of Parametric Dynamical Systems through Uncertainty-Aware Reduced Order Modeling, will be further forwarded to ECCOMAS as a candidate for the ECCOMAS PhD thesis award.
